Article - Special Issue on Low-Altitude Safety

With the rapid development of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), general aviation, and urban air mobility, the low-altitude economy has become a vital national strategic resource with significant social benefits and defense value. Ensuring low-altitude safety is the cornerstone of this emerging sector, serving as both the foundation and guarantee for its sustainable growth. Today, it stands at the center of attention in both academic research and practical applications.

To promote cutting-edge research and technological innovation in this area, INSTRUMENTATION (the English edition of Journal of Instrumentation, indexed by Scopus) is launching a Special Issue on Low-Altitude Safety, guest edited by Prof. Hongyan Xing (Nanjing University of Information Science & Technology). We warmly invite scholars and researchers worldwide to contribute their latest findings to this special issue.
